Research

HORIZON’s research focuses on both computational and experimental aspects high-speed aerothermodynamics, though the majority of work is experimental. Research interests include investigating the dynamics of transitional/turbulent shock boundary layer interactions, understanding boundary layer dynamics in high-speed conditions, development of novel optical diagnostics, aerodynamic heating, and more.
